Famines and Face Packs - book review - word-on-the-web

So what is it about?	This is all about a student who felt relief work was where her heart was. It talks about the experiences she had, the many ups and downs involved not just in the work but also in her own personal life.
Who is it for?	This is a must read for all. It could be an inspiration to do relief work yourself or like me just a needed encouragement to be more of a support for others I know doing relief or missionary work.
Does it do what it says on the label?	This is does all it says and more. The passion, laughs, hard times and tears, which Emma captures on paper, are amazing and inspiring.
Enjoy or endure?	Enjoy. Emma has a wonderful style of writing, which really captures her thoughts and feelings and makes you feel included in her experiences.
Any other comments?	I liked the title ‘Famines and face packs’ face packs not being something you would automatically associate with famines!
