| Who is it for? | Age 13+ due to upsetting
and sometimes disturbing nature. Good for reading extracts to youth groups, to give encouragement to those with faith and refresh ideas about sacrifice. |
| Does it do what it says on the label? | Does make the reader think about sacrifices in their own life, but would benefit from some commentary or discussion to help the reader with their own spiritual development with regard to sacrifice. |
| Enjoy or endure? | A book full of lots
of little stories, but no organsiation (i.e. chronological order), can
get a bit 'samey'. Very good for picking up every now and again to have a read and opening at random pages. Definitely worth reading for the accounts that open your eyes and touch your heart. |
