| Big Themes/Standout Tracks | Title track "Root of it all" is quite a catchy tune which talks about "Jesus is calling us, to the love of a father" and "Jesus is calling us, to love one another". Basic facts really; but still just as important to hear now as ever, bearing in mind the state of the world. |
| Anything that lets it down | It says it's an enhanced CD with various features but the copy I have doesn't do anything except play the tracks of the album. I'm not sure if it's just my copy but I was disappointed. |
| Who it sounds like | 'Far Away' has a slight Wheatus feel to it. |
