Describe it in 20 words	Beatmart Recordings invited unsigned Christian hip-hop artists to send in their tracks - this CD collects the best of them.
Big Themes/Standout Tracks	All of these tracks were submitted to Beatmart Recordings in 2004. For me, it was hard to pick a standout track as this CD seamlessly blends them together into one long piece (like a mix tape). Having said that, "Single Mother" (by Japhia Life, Rob Hodge and Donnie Lewis) is a strong track and could even be a hit single. "Lord Lord" (by Mark J and The Truth) is also good. There will be another CD of this type in 2005, so check out www.beatmart.com if you want to submit something yourself.
Anything that lets it down	This CD is a good idea and it is great that so many Christians are making hip-hop music, but ultimately it has a general feeling of saminess, and some of these tracks sound like low-budget demos.
Who it sounds like	Think of Eminem, but with Christian words.
