| Describe it in 20 words | A studio-recorded, guitar-based album from Portsmouth-based worship leader Gareth Matthews - sometimes joyful and upbeat, sometimes reflective |
| Big Themes/Standout Tracks | To me, the strength of this album is that it sounds like it was recorded live in the studio. To my ears, there are no fancy overdubs - this is a real band playing real music, and the live atmosphere comes across in the recording. The highlight of the album is "Holy and Pure" - whenever I feel a bit down I want to listen to this upbeat number of cheer myself up. The title track, "Three Days", also stands out as it is a jazzy instrumental with great saxophone playing. |
| Anything that lets it down | Yes, it left me eagerly waiting for the next Gareth Matthews CD! |
| Who it sounds like | A mixture of Martyn Joseph, Level 42 and Matt Redman. |
| Rating | **** Great stuff |
