'word-on-the-web' project serves up
email course in Christianity
Church Army’s word-on-the-web project has developed an exciting initiative: New to Christianity.
Launched on 16th March, New to Christianity is an e-mail
based alternative to Christian enquirers’ courses such as Alpha and
Emmaus. Over six weeks, subscribers will receive,
free of charge, daily emails containing lively, relevant teaching on the basics
of the Christian faith, including Bible passages and prayers.
Church Army’s Andrew Wooding comments: “word-on-the-web’s e-mail and internet ministry is aimed at people who do not necessarily have any contact with church, as well as challenging existing Christians to reach out to those around them.
New to Christianity is the natural next step in that ministry, aimed at new Christians or those who are spiritually searching and wish to explore Christianity.”
