word-on-the-web reaching people in over
a hundred nations
Church Army’s word-on-the-web now has subscribers based in over a hundred countries around the globe with the addition of new subscribers this month from Angora, Belize and Sierra Leone. Around 5,800 subscribers now take the innovative internet and e-mail ministry ana aside from the UK, with over 4.2k subscribers, the other nations topping the subscriptions chart are the USA with 803; Australia 85; Canada 62; India 37; New Zealand 36; Nigeria and Ireland 30.
word-on- the- web was backed recently by Christian music bands Delirious?, Thebandwithnoname and y-Friday; and Ruth Walker, word-on-the-web’s administrator adds: “It is so encouraging to see word-on-the-web being used internationally, and especially in the countries where it is hard for people to access bibles. I continue to pray that God will bless this ministry further and it will continue to develop and grow.”
Each day subscribers receive a short, challenging bible study along with a
prayer, delivered straight into their e-mail in-box. There is also an on-line
New to Christianity course for those who wish to discover more about the Christian
faith.
