Leading on-line newspaper Christian Today to use word-on-the-web's daily bible study notes

Church Army’s word-on-the-web, which sends challenging bible studies to over 7,600 subscribers in over 100 countries round the world, has caught the eye of Christian Today. The leading Christian online newspaper in London, which attracts approximately 15,000 clicks per day and is currently the highest ranked religious website in the UK and Europe according to Alexa.com, will use word-on-the-web’s daily bible studies and devotionals as part of their bible studies.

“In the vision of endlessly growing and revealing God's work more and more, we are currently looking to expand our website again,” states Daniel Blake of Christian Today. “In particular, we wish to provide more devotional and Bible studied teachings to our readers. We have always respected the great work of Church Army, and in particular the word-on-the-web team does a great job in spreading the good news. We hope that many of our users will read these Bible studies, and believe that this will help spread the great work of word-on-the-web to an even wider audience.”theteam@word-on-the-web.co.uk

Commenting on the new partnership, Ruth Walker, word-on-the-web’s Project Co-ordinator says, “It is great to see how the project has grown, and is being recognised by other organisations as credible, and that they want to be apart of its development. It is fantastic to have Christian Today backing the project and spreading the word via their site. I hope that their readers will find it a blessing to them."

It is not the first time that word-on-the-web’s bible studies have been endorsed by another organisation. Back in May 2005, Ultimate Events, the brainchild behind The Ultimate Event, the yearly fun day Christian concert at Alton Towers gave out word-on-the-web’s New to Christianity material as a follow-up to everyone who responded to the call of becoming a Christian at the event.

word-on-the-web has been online now for a number of years, sending short challenging Bible studies each day, 365 days a year, to over 7,600 subscribers in over 100 countries round the world. These studies are sent completely free of charge and have been written by people such as Luis Palau, rock bands Delirious?, thebandwithnoname and yfriday, singer Sue Rinaldi, writers from organisations such as Girls’ Brigade, Boys’ Brigade, YFC, YWAM, Salvation Army, and also a number of bishops.
